Strike rally and march Kingston University, Penrhyn Road, Kingston 09:30 - 14:00 March, Rally

Called by Hands Off Our Pensions in Surrey (HOOPS) supported by Kingston GMB, Kingston Anti-Cuts Group, Surrey UNISON and Surrey Save Our Services. When upwards of three million workers from over 20 unions nationally will be striking, lets march through Kingston to tell the government NO! We call on all anti-cuts activists, community groups, pensioners and alike to join us outside of the Penrhyn Road campus of Kingston University to march through Kingston Upon Thames and demomnstrate our anger not just at this disgraceful robbery but the entire austerity agenda of the Con-Dem government making ordinary people pay for the crisis they did not cause.

We’ll be going past and picking up picket lines, delivering tea, coffee and solidarity to everyone on the way. Finally there will be a rally at the Richard Mayo centre on Eden Street at the end and then towards the London rally together!
